We are pleased to announce this exceptional opportunity to join one of the mining "powerhouses" as a Mechanical Maintenance Superintendant. Our client is a renowned & diversified international mining company, covering base metals and coal across the globe. Due to continued growth, this has brought about the immediate need for an experienced and driven Maintenance Superintendant to assist the Maintenance Manager in the management, development and leadership of the concentrator maintenance department.
In the role the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
· Plant availability and reliability
· Preventative and breakdown maintenance across the concentrator
· Management of capital and operational budgets
· Supervision and mentoring of the Concentrator maintenance team and contractors
Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
· Mechanical Engineering or trade qualifications
· Proven management experience in a large Concentrator with exposure to gyratory crushers, flotation cells, ball and sag mills and dewatering equipment
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Experience in Condition Monitoring and Root Cause Analysis
· A dedication to safety, environment and best practise
