Job Description
Our client, a public Energy Company is seeking a Financial Compliance Analyst to join their prominent team. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the successful Financial Compliance Analyst will be responsible for, but not be limited to; SOX compliance, preparation of documentation of internal processes and controls, developing test plans, testing, and walk through. Additional duties of the Financial Compliance analyst will include, assessing internal effectiveness and staying abreast of developments from regulatory entities on SOX related matters. Qualifications :
Ideally, you will be a designated (CA / CGA / CIA or CMA) accountant with 5+ years SOX experience. You are a detail oriented, relationship builder, with superior verbal and written communication skills. Oil and Gas SOX experience is an asset!
