Responsibilities:
Develop procurement strategies and commercial arrangements appropriate to the business / location.
Undertake specific commercial exercises to secure project specific and non federal contracts to underpin business spend.
Ensure contracts are maintained to align with activity and are used in accordance with business rules.
Monitor and intervene on compliance with PSCM process and 'Way we Work' as 'P2P Commitment Authority' for operations.
Provide post contract PSCM support and advise the business on PSCM issues.
Work with the Contract Managers to ensure value is delivered from the contract and the supplier relationship.
Requirements:
Sound background in Procurement and Supply Chain Management with experience in the following areas: commercial & contractual negotiation, contract drafting & execution, sourcing and general post contract management & risk/claims mitigation work.
Solid contracting skills and the ability to negotiate contractual terms with contractors / suppliers.
Effective supplier relationship management skills.
Strong Interpersonal skills
Knowledge of upstream oil and gas business
