Lakeside EMS is the new ambulance provider for the Town of Sylvan Lake and surrounding area starting July 1, 2008. We are currently recruiting FULL TIME and CASUAL Paramedics and EMTs. We are also recruiting CASUAL EMRs.
Lakeside EMS offers competitive wages, a 2 on 4 off schedule, and aggressive protocols allowing all providers to work fully within their scope of practice (including GAP).
Qualifications for Paramedics include:
- Current registration as an EMT-P with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
- Current Basic Rescuer CPR certification.
- Valid Alberta Class 4 Driver’s license.
- Must hold current ITLS, ACLS and PALS certification
Two permanent Full Time positions are available starting July 1, 2008.
Casual positions available
Qualifications for EMTs include:
- Current registration as an EMT with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
- GAP skills.
- Current Basic Rescuer CPR certification.
- Valid Alberta Class 4 Driver’s license.
Four permanent Full Time positions are available starting July 1, 2008.
