Instrumentation & Measurement Technologist - Team Lead - Calgary Branch
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering Projects, the Instrumentation & Measurement Technologist is responsible for a wide range of engineering project work. Specific responsibilities include:
- Working in a project team environment on a wide variety of electrical, automation and control projects
- Reviewing of P&ID’s
- Managing the specification and purchase of instrumentation for medium sized projects
- Providing technical leadership in instrumentation, metering & measurement
Skills and Qualifications:
- Completed education as an instrumentation technologist
- 5+ years of experience (including oil & gas industry experience)
- Hands on experience with a wide range of instrumentation, calibration techniques, control loop tuning, device net and field bus
- Control systems and automation expertise
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
