Job Description
Provide transportation expertise and assistance to the material management group through active participation in planning and execution of transportation tasks for ongoing Oil and Gas Projects.
A background in international shipping, dimensional rail movements and or heavy haul would be an aset.
The Logistics specialist will be required to prepare documentation for transportation plans, bids and purchase orders and to manage the execution of the transportation packages.
The logistics Specialist will have intermediate level of supervisory responsibilities and travel requirements in performance of their duties.
Job Requirements
· 5-15 years of related experience
· University degree preferred
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent computer literacy skills
· Strong leadership and decision making skills
· Communication, Planning and Organizing, Teamwork
· Aligning Performance for Success
· Delegating Responsibility
· Business Acumen
