Requirements:
· 2 to 3 years of Oil & Gas Accounting experience.
· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
· Excellent Analytical skills.
· Highly motivated self starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
· An individual who can take full responsibility for their position and possesses a “Whatever it takes” attitude.
· Have a good working knowledge of SAP, Powervision, Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
· Have a good working knowledge of various aspects of an Oil & Gas organization including Joint Interest, Non-Op Accounting, Royalty
· Income, Revenue Accounting, Lease Rentals and Marketing Accounting.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze daily cash receipts and allocate to various departments.
· Phone customers for supporting documentation.
· Work with various accounting departments to ensure proper allocations of cash receipt.
· Analyze cash receipts and apply to outstanding accounts receivable balances.
· Ensures that miscellaneous cash receipts are cleared in a timely manner
· Maintain a daily cash receipt log.
· Scan all cash receipts into Powervision.
· Monthly reconciliation of cash clearing accounts.
· Special projects as assigned.
