Desktop Support Position - Responsibilities:
As the successful candidate, you will be able to perform the following:
- Helpdesk, calls via phone, e-mail, walk-in and work-order;
- User training;
- Desktop builds, upgrades and support;
- Network connection and troubleshooting;
- May have responsibility for technical projects and/or project budgets; and
Qualifications:
- Technician or Technologist’s Diploma preferred from accredited curriculum, plus
- appropriate continuing education and upgrading
- Vendor training and continuing
- education may be a sufficient alternative if practical training and experience have been
- included;
- Expertise and experience on current Microsoft technologies
- Must definitely have experience in and a talent for customer service work;
- Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills;
- Ability to document technical procedures and configurations;
- Time management – balancing immediate and long-term work with varying priorities and
- deadlines;
- Dedication to continued training and learning, and continued career development.
