Position Description:
Position is based in St. John’s, NL, the petroleum capital of eastern Canada. Will require some minor fieldwork, but mostly supervisory
Qualifications:
- 5-15 years experience, with a mix of petroleum and mineral exploration preferred
- Experience in sedimentary mineral deposits such as evaporates (salt and potash) would be a definite asset
- Excellent communication and data management skills
- Work independently and management of field crews in a frontier setting
- Bilingual would be an asset but is not required
- Must be eligible for registration with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of NL
- This position has a significant degree of autonomy where initiative, creativity and commitment will be recognized and rewarded
- Looking for someone who has a lot of energy and is eager to join an emerging company
- Excellent presentation skills
