Overview
This position is a Plant Roustabout position at the Yates Gas Plant. The successful candidate will serve a vital role in maintenance, process operations and compression operation of the plant and field facilities. The Yates Gas Plant employs a multitude of processes which include NGL Recovery, 5000 kW power/steam cogeneration, and fuel manufacturing. Within the fuel manufacturing process are bulk CO2 membranes, two amine sweetening units, glycol and molecular sieve dehydration, and a nitrogen rejection unit.
The Yates Field Compression fleet consists of a number of slow speed reciprocating Clark TLAB-6 (2000 hp units), Ingersoll KVS and KVSR (2000 and 2600 hp units). The fleet also contains three turbine driven Solar and Delaval centrifugal compressors (3750 and 4250 hp units). The main purpose of these compressors is to compress raw produced gas for further processing or reinjection in to the Yates Field Reservoir. In addition to these raw gas compressors, the Yates Gas Plant contains a number of smaller electric driven compressors for process purposes. The Yates Gas plant is a PSM Facility and the Yates Field operates as an OSHA, VPP Star site.
Job Description
Operate company vehicles during daily activities
Monitoring of facilities to identify operational problems
Perform routine maintenance of process and compression equipment
Operation of process equipment to maintain designated operating conditions
Shutdown and startup of equipment (pumps, facilities, equipment, etc.)
Provide oral and written communication of activities to appropriate personnel
Interact with contract personnel
Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns
Promote the company’s EHS philosophy and culture
OSHA-VPP compliant and champion
Perform Lockout and Tagout duties for maintenance work
Complete appropriate documentation
Complete Work Orders as needed
Be available for call out during work week or when required
Manual Labor
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Solid safety and environmental practices
Basic math skills
Self starter and high drive for results
Must be able to handle multiple tasks
Strong teamwork
Strong communication skills
Basic computer skills
Must maintain a valid driver’s license, and a driving record satisfactory to the company’s insurers
Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus on attention to detail, and follow work rules
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in oil and gas operations
Experience in gas processing
Experience in compression operation
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
