With offices across Canada, our client is a successful Construction company whose specialties include Waste Management, Commercial Construction and Project Management is seeking a SUPERINTENDENT for their Calgary location. Established in the 1960s, this privately held firm offers growth opportunities, an autonomous working environment as well as access to continued education.
Responsibilities:
As Superintendent you will be responsible for providing management insight for all phases of the construction projects including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment as well as ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding both on schedule and within budget.
Education and Experience
The preferred candidate possesses 7 to 10 years of previous leadership experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager. Candidates with a degree in Construction Management will be given additional consideration. Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication skills both oral and written are also key functions of this site role. The ideal candidate must have strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to meet company objectives whilst maintaining positive relations with sub trades.
