Overview
A vacancy has arisen in Houston for a HSE Region Coordinator, reporting to the Global HSE Manager.
The primary function of the HSE Region Coordinator will be to coordinate Health, Safety, Environment systems effectively within the North America Region. Inspect Expro HSE systems to ensure compliance within the region to a level meeting current best practice and exceeding that of our competitors.
The principal accountabilities of the job are:
- Ensure compliance with existing legislation and effectively report non-compliance to management.
- Monitor future changes in legislation for impact on the company.
- Co-ordinate with all locations to ensure environmental incidents are reported, investigated and effective corrective action taken.
- Co-ordinate with all locations to ensure accidents and near misses are reported, investigated and effective action taken.
- Conduct field visits to ensure effective systems are maintained for the identification, assessment and control of all significant hazards.
- Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the company.
- Undertake all other duties as reasonably requested.
The successful applicant should also meet the following criteria:
- Technically proficient.
- Working knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment regulations, legislation and best practices.
- Good interpersonal skills, dealing with third party certification bodies and other contractors.
- Ability to train, develop and motivate.
- Computer skills.
- High school diploma.
- 3 plus years experience.
