Responsibilities :
Design Engineer Responsibilities will include conceptual/detailed design, product development, technical support, testing, design and documentation of the [Company]Downhole oilfield products; Drilling, Motors, Fishing, Coiled Tubing, and Wireline Tools.
The Downhole engineering department is comprised of several P.E.’s, numerous graduate engineers, and designers providing a young, energetic work environment and excellent learning opportunities.
The department uses state-of-the-art design and management tools such as SolidWorks, CosmosWorks, UGS Teamcenter, and a custom-designed product development process to ensure that the right product is designed for the right customer at the right time.
Projects involve interaction with and occasional visits to [Company]service districts located across the USA, where hands-on experience is obtained.
The Downhole engineering office is located near the Bush airport within a major manufacturing facility, providing excellent access and interaction with knowledgeable machinists.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Requires a B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited university.
- Must have excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, as well as strong technical and computer skills.
- Oilfield and/or manufacturing experience is an asset
