Responsibilities:
Works directly with global treasury manager and regional treasury contacts to ensure timely and accurate creation of short and long term group cash flow forecasts
Manages corporate bank accounts and assists in strategies to manage and mitigate cash shortfalls/surpluses around the group
Assists in the management of surplus cash balances with financial institutions
Co-ordinates ongoing development of group's global banking facilities
Works directly with regions to identify currency exposures and works with global treasury manager to develop reporting and assist in implementing hedging strategies for traded currencies
Manages group's bank guarantee/bonding facility and liaises with banks and regions on issue of necessary guarantees
Oversees inter company working capital process
Consolidates group cash flow forecast as part of regular planning process
Prepares quarterly reports to compare financial performance with industry competitors
Other ad hoc treasury duties as required
Requirements:
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
You must have strong technical and accounting knowledge (preferably IFRS) and be willing to work hard to drive the function forward.
Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role
Articulates views in comprehensive manner
Produces work of presentable quality
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and SAP experience is an advantage
Good organisational skills and smart working methods
Educated to degree level
Professional Accounting qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
Can articulate learning and training experiences
Previous experience of working in a similar environment
Treasury experience is useful but not essential
Must be willing to travel if necessary (although significant travel not part of role)
Must be physically fit for the required position with reasonable adjustments
