Responsibilities:
Partner with Global Field Service Leader, Managers and their Teams worldwide to develop & implement strategic HR initiatives to drive HR excellence
Take the lead on growing expertise of the field service group through initiatives underway to hire, train and develop, and retain the Field Services population.
Be the key owner of a complete compensation & benefits review and make recommendations to ensure competitive compensation & benefits practices globally
Lead key HR processes for these groups including staffing, org design, EMS & Session C, leadership & employee development, compensation planning, Leadership Coaching, & Performance Management
Lead and initiate new and innovative global HR practices to create a strong culture of leaders and high performing teams
Drive HR process improvement, simplification, and a culture of performance & engagement.
Keep HR policies and processes up to date relative to policies and local legislation.
Provide guidance and leadership to the business regarding interpretation and compliance
Strong focus on identification, selection, on-boarding and retention of world-class Field Services talents
Develop plan and lead initiatives for the Field Services population requirements, training and career path over the next few years to support GS growth activities
Implement appropriate communication tools and systems to ensure effective flow of information. Implement GE HR tools, systems, and processes
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other HR-related disciplines.
MBA or MLIR preferred.
HRLP grad preferred.
HR Generalist experience ideally in a global or multi-national setting.
Union relations experience strongly preferred.
Must be fluent in English. Other foreign languages would be a desired.
Clear thinker able to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans, is decisive, and results-oriented Excellent execution abilities
Courage tough-minded, savvy in client interactions, ability to effectively push back and challenge the status quo.
Strong written & oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization, effectively sell ideas and operate in multicultural/ international environments.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a matrix team environment
Ability to handle multiple priorities and initiate, lead and manage change
Project management, facilitation and complex problem-solving skills, along with strong process skills.
Six sigma or lean experience a plus.
High energy level, driven with positive enthusiasm & a pragmatic approach
