Responsibilities:
To provide training both Internal & External training on Forklift trucks , Overhead cranes, Slinging Banksman, Abrasive wheels, Pallet trucks & other courses as & when developed. Training will be conducted at the WT&TC location & other relevant facilities within the UK and at various international locations as requested.
Take an active part in developing new courses in order for WT&TC to increase the training portfolio & discuss possible training avenues to pursue. Both in the UK and in Overseas locations.
Present the WT&TC Training capabilities both internally and externally to operatiors and industry related Companies ensuring adherence to all policy and procedures.
Actively drive the continual improvement culture, identifying future improvements in terms of safe work practices & training requirements .
Actively promote and instill good working relationships between all WTTC personnel, which will contribute to optimum facility performance
Ensure personal development matches current and future requirements.
Identify areas for improvement and continually evaluate ensuring performance is at the optimum level.
Manage the inputs within the gantt chart and continually evaluate and monitor the progress against the SMART objectives.
Participate in close out and implementation of corrective actions, resulting from NCR’s and customer complaints. Participate in continual improvement culture, identifying future improvements in terms of safe work practices, business management and facilties.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
Requirements:
Full Uk driving licence required, International & UK travel will be required.
Some outside work in Inclement weather will be required due to the nature of the position.
A second language would be an advantage due to possibility of overseas travel.
Professional qualification from a recognised training body(ITSSAR or equivelant) , Good understanding of the English language both written & spoken.
This is the recognised training body for Forklift instructors.
Fluent in another language
Experienced in all aspects of training & competency, Capable of working as part of a team, Ability to adapt to different situations and training environments.
Overseas travel & teaching to a wide range of students
Wide range of experience of training on heavy plant & lifting equipment, Technical knowledge of plant & lifting equipment.
Mechanical understanding of plant & machinery.
Can work as part of a team.
Can work with minimal supervision.
Good mannered with clients
Computer literate
Excellent communication skills
