Job Description
This position is within the audit department. The individual will work within a team environment with two other royalty auditors to ensure that the companies are receiving freehold and gross overriding royalties as per the Petroleum Natural Gas Lease
Responsibilities:
· Prepare analytical review of royalty income by pay or utilizing Synergy for assigned audits.
· Participate in monthly review meetings with Royalty Analysts to identify additional audit issues or areas of concern.
· Utilizing CS Explorer, identify Mineral and Contract files required with respect to the leases being audited.
· Ensure Jade is received and reviewed prior to the start of the audit.
· Complete pre-audit prep work such prior to start of the audit.

· Alberta Registry
· Jiblink
· Microsoft Access
Required
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the “big picture” while paying attention to detail.
· 5+years of oil and gas operational experience and some audit experience
· Progressing towards completion of a CMA or CGA
Salary up to $60K depending on experience
