Responsibilities:
• Construction drawing preparation for industrial and commercial buildings, bridges, highways, site planning and development, and solid waste management facilities
• Field inspection services and shop drawing review during project construction
Qualifications:
• The appropriate university or college preparation
• Certified as a Certified Technician (C.Tech.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.), or be eligible for certification within six months
• Two years’ relevant work experience
Experience:
• Proficient in the use of current AutoCAD software
• Familiarity with Land Desktop/Civil 3D software
• Proficiency in both oral and written communication skills, report writing, organization and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of manual drafting techniques
• Familiarity with building systems and construction experience would be an asset
