Description:
[Employer] Infrastructure, based in offices around Alberta, has immediate openings for Checkers and Scalers to work on road projects, as needed, around the province. Scalers will work out of a scale house verifying weights of gravel/asphalt being delivered to the projects. Checkers will supervise the delivery of the scaled gravel/asphalt onto the site.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to work outdoors. Steel toed work boots are required.
- Must be willing to work overtime as the work will be steady and could reach up to 14 hours per day weather permitting
- Must be mature and self motivated with the ability to work under little supervision
- Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle to get to the site
Compensation:
- $16.50/hour with overtime paid at 1.5X
- Accommodations are arranged and paid by AMEC
- Daily subsistence pay of $50.00
