Responsibilities:
Assist in presenting annual budgets to Management for approval.
Supervise the preparation of Monthly Management Report and Quarterly Product Unit Costs Report by ensuring requisite data is made available to the management on a timely basis, and appropriate reports are developed and distributed.
Supervise preparation of various ad-hoc financial analyses as required by Management for decision making.
Supervise the development of cost recovery models to ensure that QP is properly compensated for work carried out on behalf of other parties.
Requirements:
BA in Accounting plus the completion of a recognized international accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
More than 10 years' general and management accounting experience within an international oil corporation, with at least 5 years in a position with responsibility for management and supervision of professional staff.
In addition to detailed knowledge of accounting practice, the position requires a high level of understanding of oil company joint venture and commercial practices and processes in order to analyze financial data in an appropriate way, develop practical financial procedures and advise and make recommendations to Management on a wide range of issues.
