• From the functional specification, prepare and develop the project scope of work, conceptual single line diagram, site plan and the PPS (Proposal to Provide Service).
• After the direct assignment of the work, prepare and develop the engineering specification, manage the work to ensure compliance to the PPS and the change order process.

• Identify all the multi-discipline key activities and milestone dates and develop the project schedule.
• During the course of the project, monitor the progress, identify all critical path activities, update the schedule and issue the same.

• Review and prepare project estimates and cash flows, track costs, update the Forecast Final Costs, submit variance reports and project Post Completion Reviews.

• Lead and direct all EPC activities among multiple project teams. In the project planning phase, prepare conceptual design and cost estimates, assess feasibility and constructability of alternatives.

• Prepare and implement the consultation plan.
• For large and complex project, direct involvement in consultation might be required.
• HSE: Responsible for all the HSE aspects of the assigned project, including the project HSE management plan, process, reporting, audit and compliance.

• Act as the single point of contact for the project, ensure there is good communication within the project team members, PMB members and external parties which includes AESO, EUB and customers in the area of scope, schedule and budget, especially any materialistic changes.

• Ensure all aspects of the Functional Specification, scope of work, PPS, safety codes and other legal requirements are met.
• During the implementation phase, review and monitor the work process to ensure all internal and external processes are in compliance.

• Identify all the significant project risks, prepare mitigation plan, track and manage the risks and contingencies as they develop

Procurement:

• Identify and ensure procurement all long term delivery equipment.
• Monitor all critical path material delivery status, expedite the same and find substitutes for unavailable equipment.

• An engineering degree and a member of APEGGA.
• Minimum of eight years combined experience in engineering, design, construction, project management or other related area.
• Superior interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience in team leadership including team building, negotiation and conflict management.
• Project management training and PMP designation is desirable.
• A financial background would be an asset.
