Responsibilities:
To provide design and draughting expertise within Product Groups
To work within the Product Groups as a Designer/Draughtsman responsible for preparation of design drawings and specifications.
Assist in service Support work and provide support to manufacturing, workshops etc
Prepare conceptual designs and interfaces in conjunction with Work Package Engineers using company CAD Facilities and in accordance with company and client standards and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of proposals and studies for equipment used in subsea control systems.
Monitor and control expenditure on design tasks to ensure that any assigned work packages are completed to budget and timesacale.
In addition to the duties listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor / manager from time to time.
Requriements:
HND or HNC in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical Engineering.
Demonstrable ability to produce technical drawings.
Fully conversant with current auto CAD packages , Solidworks or a 3D Design package essential
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, NCR systems, SAP.
