Responsibilities:
Managing workloads to ensure timely processing of high volume of invoices in line with weekly and month-end deadlines
Manage the Accounts Payable Mail box
Process dummy cheques
Assisting the accounts payable team with queries and various administrative duties
Ensuring all invoices have the relevant project numbers, approvals and purchase orders
Ensuring all invoices and overdue invoices are promptly processed effectively and efficiently
Ensuring vendors’ contact and payment details are accurate in the system
Prepare credit account applications
Provide accounts payable training to other relevant staff members and assist them when necessary
Provide prompt assistance to work colleagues and vendors in regards to account enquiries
Process adjustments to correct project numbers and codes where necessary
Assistance Foreign payments as part of invoice payments
Assistance of Cash flow forecasts in absence of other staff members
Requirements:
Previous accounts payable experience
Experience with large volume processing
Attention to detail
Time management and working towards deadlines
General knowledge and sense regarding issues
Being flexible with your repsonsibilities and assisting with various areas in the team
Experience with Oracle
The role will ideally suit a candidate who is flexible to work at varying levels dependent upon the requirements at the time.
