Job Description:
Client located in north Houston is hiring for several Drilling Engineers to focus on assets in one or more of the following areas: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana.
Experience Level From 5 -25 Years - Compensation Depending On Experience
The Drilling Engineer is responsible for:
- Generating well plans, cost estimates as well as risk analysis for horizontal and vertical drilling operations.
- Working with regulatory and geological/geophysical groups to construct Plans of Exploration, Applications for Permits to Drill and Development and Coordination Documents.
- Constructing AFE and well plan details into a drilling blueprint for field operations to follow.
- Working with the drilling superintendent and contractors to execute well plans in the most cost effective manner, including monitoring and tracking well costs comparing daily results to plan and accounting.
- Providing oversight to ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies.
