Job Description:
Reservoir Engineer to be part of a multi-disciplinary team engaged in the continued development of existing assets as well as growth through property acquisitions in the Mid-Continent region. This individual will be responsible for reserve estimation for on-going development projects as well as acquisition engineering evaluation and economics for targeted growth.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze reservoir performance and recommend/implement diagnostic work for producing property performance analysis.
- Experience in well testing/pressure transient analysis a plus as is log analysis and interpretation. Experience with OGRE reserve analysis software will be a plus.
- Responsible for annual reserve reporting at the asset team level.
- Previous experience with unconventional reservoirs desired (CBM, shales, tight gas sands).
- Reservoir engineering in horizontal wells a plus.
Qualifications:
Senior Position:
Ten to fifteen years minimum reservoir engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Staff Position:
Four to nine years minimum reservoir engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
