Requirements:
M.Tech in materials science and engineering or mechanical engineering with emphasis on materials processing (casting), fabrication, coatings, materials design for power systems and aero engines.
Excellent knowledge on process metallurgy (casting process) of steels and ni-based alloys, plant inspection on plants dealing with steels and ni-based super alloys
Excellent knowledge and experience on the fabrication processes like welding and NDT to do the certification at various suppliers
Excellent knowledge of materials used in power generation equipment, aero-engines, and codes and standards related to these materials and processes
Atleast 3 years of technical experience in materials processing, inspection, supplier qualification of suppliers for steam / gas turbine components
Experience in material heat treatment, mechanical testing
Excellent presentation and communication skills
M. Tech in materials science and engineering
At least 5 years experience in casting processes for a wide variety of alloys, primarily casting of steels and superalloys.
At least 3-5 years experience with plant inspection involving foundaries
Excellent experience with plant inspection, NDT, welding/other repair processes
Excellent experience inmaterials used in steam / gas turbine / wind turbine components
Six sigma green belt certification
