Responsibilities:
Shop stats - collect costs and analyse against recovered costs for under absorption - Projects T&A
Material burden and Under / Over Recovery - split by PMS for central finance
Inventory by PMS - report value by PMS and value of intercompany stock in inventory
Value of control valves inventory held in projects at month end
Responsible for the reconciliation of all inventory and WIP movements at month end leading to preparation of Monthly Projects Inventory Journal.
Preparation of data for 10-ups
Cost of poor quality for Projects (including Brent Avenue)
Scrap and rework by customer including Summary of IRR explanations
WIP returns
Monthly Account Reconciliations
T&A Weekly Reporting
Efficiencies - actuals versus standards for works orders closed in the week. Report on a weekly basis and cumulative year to date by Project. Cost of Quality Hours also analysed by Project
Actual Hours and recovery against rolling forecast
Indirect and Non-Productive Time against budget
T&A Monthly Reporting
Overtime reports by person and by department
Analysis of department spends - highlight significant costs
Other weekly/monthly
Adjust Rework Costs out of WIP into Scrap and Rework and prepare Monthly Scrap and Rework Reports for Projects and FCPIS, including reconciliation of Report to General Ledger.
Update Internal Sales Order Register for Actual Costs and Updated WIP values
Record SRN data from issue notes received from warehouse
Clear out of Inventory Clearance Account, including manual matching of Foreign Currency invoices
Prepare Price Adjustments for issue of Oilstore Items, Miscellaneous Subcon Costs and One Sided Inventory adjustments
Periodically review Projects WIP and identify any old orders that require actions
Liaise with R&D Dept to advise costs of R&D orders open in Projects
Requirements:
Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant
Good communication skills
Manufacturing Accounting background preferred
Experience of mainframe and PC bases systems is required
