Responsibilities :
- Insure the proper utilization of equipment and material.
- Make set-ups and operate equipment insuring adherence to procedures/standards while advancing [Company]quality policy.
- Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances based upon drawings. Insure paperwork is accurate and reflects the latest revision.
- Operate CNC machines in all phases of operations, either in accordance with tape programs or manual data input (MDI), to run first article parts or to proof new programs.
- Use measuring tools and gauges to insure quality of product.
- Report unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment, accidents and inquiries to supervisor.
Experience / Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with knowledge of trigonometry
- 2+ years experience in CNC machining environment
- Knowledge in the proper use of measuring tools/gauges, cutting tools, blueprints and routers.
