Job Description:
Our Louisville office is seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to perform a wide variety of geotechnical services for a broad spectra client base in the Midwest region. Responsibilities will include client contact, proposal preparation, analysis, technical review, report writing, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain existing clients and expand service base where applicable.
- Develop new clients in accordance with established office marketing plan.
- Provide services within defines budget and schedule.
- Compile and present results of complex engineering studies to audiences with a broad spectrum of technical expertise.
- Develop strategies for project planning, organization, control, implementation, and completion.
- Direct and participate in the performance of complex engineering tasks.
- Review designs and plans for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, contract requirements and related specifications.
- Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments and scheduling.
- Convey results and findings by means of oral discussions and presentations and project documentation.
- Remain abreast of current theories, emerging technologies, changing regulations, market conditions and business opportunities.
Knowledge / Experience
- BS/Masters Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering or Geological Engineering are desired)
- PE Registration in one or more states preferred
- 5 years experience desired but not mandatory
- History of strong client maintenance and development
- Problems Solver
- Self Motivated
- Good Communication Skills
- Team Player
- Up-to-Date Analytical Skills
