Responsibilities:
Modeling and detailing of components related to Industrial plant (IPL) structures & concrete for Oil and Gas Business
Supporting the conceptual, preliminary and detailed design activities related to IPL Structures and concrete work in collaboration with global team to perform the design
Preparation of Foundation Drawings and Load Charts
Design Drawings or Framing drawings of the steel structures
Detailed Fabrication Drawings of the Structural Members, which includes Connection details, grating detailing and other aspects related to steel structures
Analyze, interpret and establish design requirements based on information received and available data
Visualize, conceive and provide configurations for solutions of design problems and prepare appropriate documents
Prepare clear, concise and accurate conceptual and/or design layouts defining tolerances, fits, clearances and space requirements including other graphical presentations as required
Apply the detailing and Design Standards, Drafting Practices and Procedures, and promote the standardization of product parts
Coordinate the issu of complete, accurate engineering/production drawings and related documents to support agreed upon schedules for assigned work
Prepare and maintain records essential to performance of assignments and responsibilities
Oil & Gas basic industrial plant engineering design, as overall feature;signature.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engg
2-5 yrs of Exp in design / detailing using in structures
Excellent written and oral communication
Use of the SAP2000 structural software or other similar struct
Calculation tools as Gtstrudl, STAAD, Reinf. Concrete design, (use of Word; Excel; other if any);
Use of most popular CAD system (Autocad)
Use of the bill of quantities civil Works estimation tool
Experience in basic design (steel and concrete structures design, basic and conceptual), Civil works design in Industrial Plant about foundation, underground works, experiences of design for Industrial building (Steel or Reinf.Concrete frameworks) and all relevant interconnections with others building and internal auxiliary plants (knowledge and experience of finishing of building according civil and industrial needs)
Experience about structural joint connection calculation, Experiences of foundation design connected in Ind. plant located and addressed in congested plant areas
Experience about bill of quantities for civil works estimation, to have used tool for Civil and Structural Supply estimation manual or in software
Experience of HVAC design so that to define basic design for HVAC system (installed in the buildings of the plant) is included the HVAC supplier engineering follow up
Good Oil & Gas structures knowledge
Excellent presentation skills
Good Knowledge of structural design and attention to details
