Location: Aberdeen, United Kingdom

Responsibilities:

Create materials to product/project specifications in SAP ensuring commonality of documentation and classification. Search database of existing materials to ensure a minimum of new materials are created. Ensure material creation workflow proceeds in an efficient manner.
Search company database for existing material descriptions.
Set up new materials in SAP.
Establish QM requirements.
Establish SDRL.
Report monthly on amount of new materials created.
Monitor and minimise new material creation.
Ensure compliance with classification system.
Actively liase with material requestor on any technical issues or concerns.
Notify Material Planner of any new materials to ensure efficient workflow is maintained.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Bill of Materials structuring.
Extensive SAP knowledge.
Knowledge of database systems.
Qualified to degree level/equivalent.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of XMT Designs.
