Requirements:
To assist Project Managers with contractual and commercial issues within their projects, such as variations, invoicing and claims.
Take a pro-active approach to the management of a contract post signature.
Provide accurate summaries to Project Managers regarding contractual and commercial status of contracts post signature.
Assist Project Managers to use contracts as a means of revenue by utilising facets within the contract such as Variations.
Assist in the resolution of disputes which occur where centred around Variations and changes to the contract post signature.
Attend meetings with clients along with Project Managers and be able to defend AK Subsea’s position.
Support Project Manager’s in contract close-out phase.
At all times, work in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environment procedures and the Company’s Operating System.
Requirements:
Degree or HNC in legal, commercial or engineering discipline.
Demonstrable experience and understanding of contractual and commercial terms.
Understanding of the contractual and commercial activities involved in a typical AK Subsea project.
Good communication skills.
