Job Description:
This position is for a Mechanical Supervisory Discipline Engineer, SDE II for our Houston, TX office.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a 4 year accredited college or university or equivalent education.12+ years mechanical engineering in Oil, Gas and Chemicals experience
- min 5 yrs task, lead, or supervisory experience.
- Must be a licensed professional engineer
Preferred Experience:
- Oil and Gas experience with upstream field development or downstream facilities experience is a plus.
- Applicant should have experience with supervising a Mechanical Engineering team that is specifying, evaluating, purchasing and delivering major rotating and fabricated equipment.
- Responsibility includes meeting client and project requirements regarding scope, scheduling and budgets
- Maintaining records, files and other documents pertaining to discipline.
- Responsibility for engineering documents to comply with applicable state laws/regulations, including affixing registered engineer seal when required.
- May be responsible for managing large discipline group in complex projects.
