Job Description
Our client, a major integrated International Energy Company, is looking for one or more Lawyers to its Calgary office in order to meet the legal demands of a large upstream business. This progressive Lawyer role will be fully integrated with an existing team of lawyers and offer senior level experience in advising, negotiating and drafting a broad range of upstream commercial agreements including operating and field agreements, business development deals, mineral and surface land issues, procurement matters, major construction projects and sales and transportation agreements.
The successful Lawyer will also advise business units from human resources, finance, health safety, as well as environment, and will directly handle, or manage external counsel on, regulatory and litigation matters. Qualifications :
As the successful Lawyer, you have 5+ years' experience in the Oil and Gas industry, coupled with a good understanding of the mandate of in-house legal counsel.
