Husky Pipelines is seeking a Pipeline Production Representative who will participate in a team of enthusiastic, results oriented individuals. Husky’s pipeline system is 2,087 kilometres long and has the capacity to transport in excess of 475,000 barrels per day of blended heavy crude oil, diluent and synthetic crude oil.
The Midstream Pipeline team is responsible for production forecasting, the physical movements of heavy crude, diluent and synthetic crude through the Husky Pipelines and the associated customer accounts. The role requires the individual to have the ability to work well in a fast paced, deadline driven, multi-tasking environment.
This position is an entry level operations role based in Calgary with primary responsibility for heavy crude oil production forecasting, month end volumetric accounting and working with the team on daily pipeline operations and customer accounts.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Heavy crude production and diluent forecasting (Annual, 3 Month Rolling, Form A, NOS, Actuals)
- Ensure data is timely, current and accurate
- Generate forecasts or ad hoc reporting/analysis as required
- Preparation of form C & Battery Allowable verification
- Compile variance analysis & weekly shippers splits
- Process and reconcile of Notice of Shipment (NOS)
- Monitor daily production and reconciling/resolving issues
- Review and Analyse working stock requirements
- Forecast of COLC Capability
- Prepare Husky pipeline capacity analysis
- Manage restriction, curtailment or apportionment analysis and reporting
- Operate, manage and maintain integrity of legacy applications/workbooks
- Become a subject matter expert for Integrated Pipeline System (IPS) Project
- Liaison between Shippers, Pipeline Connected Battery Operators, Accounting (internal & external), Husky Field Operations as required
- Prepare month end Shippers Balances
- Compile government and petroleum reporting
- Manage customer database
- Prepare and edit customer communications as required
- After core business hour availability (issue and deadline driven)
- Assist team members with daily pipeline scheduling as required
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Post secondary Business/Economics Degree/Certificate or related experience
- Oil, gas and/or transportation experience is an asset
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel mandatory)
- Developed qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Good problem solving skills with ability to develop solutions in collaboration with others and as a result have a reputation as being a team player
- Exceptional communication skills in all forms including the ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to transact with personnel at various levels both internally and externally
- Good negotiating and influencing skills, ability to present and represent with diplomacy and tact
- Ability to respond effectively/efficiently to the needs of diverse clients with a focus on customer service
- Orientation to results and comfortable providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking ability
- Comfortable with details and big picture thinking
- Enthusiasm, a desire to learn and flexibility to change
- Ability to adhere to Corporate, Midstream and Industry Governances
