Job Description:
Onshore oil and gas exploration company in the Dallas area seeks Senior Drilling Engineer. Relocation assistance is available.
Duties:
- Responsible for all drilling project planning, bit & mud selection, rig performance tracking, and drilling cost preparation for AFEs
- Responsible for day to day supervision of multiple drilling rigs
- Prepare reports for management as requested regarding drilling costs and performance
- Evaluate new projects with regards to drilling costs & problems
- Provide drilling engineering support for acquisition evaluations
- Will report to Drilling Manager on projects as directed.
Requirements:
- B.S. Engineering Degree
- 10+ years of US onshore drilling experience
- Experience in AR,LA,TX or South Texas required
- Experience in horizontal drilling helpful but not required
