Responsibilities:
Optimise Purchase-to-Pay processes associated with commodities to allow the business to access goods effectively and at optimal price.
Procure specific commodities on behalf of the business that are not covered by existing arrangements.
Ensure the business complies with relevant PSCM processes and procedures.
Liaise and intervene as necessary with the Materials Co-ordinators to ensure value is delivered from our commercial arrangements
Responsible for the effective operation of the Materials Management System.
Requirements:
Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management with experience in demand management, sourcing and materials management.
Effective supplier relationship management skills.
Good understanding of Purchase-to-Pay processes.
A willingness to challenge established behaviour
Desirable criteria & qualifications In addition to the essential criteria and qualifications, the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate:
Experience of oil & gas or a related process industry
