The Major Maintenance Planner is accountable for the development of detailed Turnaround Plans, that meet deliverables, focusing on Safety, Cost, and Quality.
Assisting the execution team to deliver flawless Turnaround executions, enabling the Corporation to achieve optimization goals.
Pre Execution
· Ensure Turnarounds are planned in alignment with Target Zero / T/A management expectations.
· Detailed Schedule Development in SAP "below the line".
· Integrate Approved Contractor Plans "Primavera" and entering data into SAP.
· Detailed planning of T/A orders including requisitions and parts reservations / engineering requirements.
· Create detailed work packages on T/A orders with input from the project team.
· Estimate costs and schedule at the T/A order level and collaborate with Project Controls in development of the "above the line schedule".
· Plan new found approved work- PCN Process.
· Build standardized task lists / approved templates to ensure repeatable efficient work processes.
· Identify all Orders requiring QC sheets, collaborate with OUP / plant engineering.
· Integrate approved routine notifications / orders into T/A schedule as per approved T/P process.
· Perform Critical path analysis.
· Maintain data integrity in SAP.
Execution
· Maintain data integrity in SAP.
· Participate in Target zero incident and hazard reporting process.
· Update schedule daily and provide two day look ahead to Area Coordinators.
· Coordinate with outage execution teams to update schedule, critical path issues.
· Update T/A Area Coordinator and Project Manager with daily reports on costs in SAP.
· Capture costs as accurately as possible to specific equipment.
· Providing information and participation in Stakeholder meetings.
· Plan any new found approved work- PCN process.
· Forward requisitions to Administration staff for processing.
· Collaborate with Engineering and SCM to ensure parts sent offsite for repair or modification have the correct Engineering requirements confirmed with vendors.
· Audit Contractor schedules and provide assessments on their progress.
· Provide active input and support to the continuous improvement process
Post execution
· Monitor returns of all unused and refurbish able materials to warehouse.
· Assist SCM when required; create MMCF's for materials required in stock.
· Work with Admin staff to update status and work history on notifications.
· Support Project Controls Finance on closing of purchase orders.
· Capturing labor /contractor / parts costs to equipment to provide cost history.
· Capturing the safety learning's to add value to future turnarounds.
· Assist Area Coordinators to create reports.
· Ensure quality schedule and turnaround documentation is done according to TIP standards as to add overall value and elements of continuous improvement to Long term Planning and Technical Plans
· Maintain data integrity in SAP.
Requirements:
This role suits the experience Maintenance/Shutdown/Outage Planner with stong organizational, communications and Primavera planning skills.
