Description:
Our client is Australia's largest publicly listed trading oil and gas exploration and production company. Headquartered in Perth, they also have offices in the UK, Japan, Korea, Libya, USA, Mauritania, China, and Kenya. They have major operational assets and exploration and development interests in five continents including Australia and the United States. They operate some of Australia’s largest resource projects with a wide portfolio of both oil and LNG assets.
Requirements:
Successful candidates will be tertiary qualified in Supply Chain/Procurement, Commercial, Legal or an Engineering discipline.
You will have a thorough understanding of strategic procurement, contracting, negotiating, and contract law principles, supported by significant hands-on experience in all facets of the contracting life cycle.
Experience in the oil and gas industry will be well regarded.
Familiarity with ERP systems, electronic sourcing and contract management tools will be an advantage.
