Our growing Corporate Finance team specializes in corporate finance advisory services including:
· Mergers
· acquisitions,
· divestitures and all forms ofcapital raising transactions.
We go to market by industry and focus on:
· Manufacturing
· distribution and the oil and gas service industry.
As a member of the Alberta Corporate Finance group, you will play an essential role as part of a team working on a particular transaction or business development opportunity. You will actively participate in winning and executing a wide variety of transactions and have significant exposure to a number of different industries.
Our Alberta Corporate Finance Group provides team members with significant responsibilities early in their career. Transaction work frequently involves working with colleagues from other areas of Advisory Services and other lines of services and from other offices across Canada and around the world.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Identify and pursue business development opportunities;
· Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis;
· Prepare and deliver client presentations;
· Conduct and coordinate research;
· Prepare financial models and provide valuation analysis;
· Coordinate specific industry business development initiatives;
· Manage transactions from engagement to closing.
Candidate Profile
Will consider candidates with:
· One or more of the following designations: CA, MBA, CFA;
· A minimum of 5 years of relevant Corporate Finance experience;
· Previous financial modelling experience would be an asset;
· Eager to participate in business development opportunities and initiatives;
· Demonstrative ability to be creative and effective in issue resolution;
· An excellent team player with a good level of initiative;
· Willing to take on and accept complex tasks;
· Possesses leadership potential and aspirations;
· Communicates effectively both orally and in written format; and
· Interest in long-term career growth in mid-market corporate finance firm.
