We are currently seeking a high caliber Rotating Equipment Engineer to work on a contract basis. Based in Calgary, you will be working for one of the world's leading engineering, procurement and construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.
You will have knowledge of and/or experience in the following:
· Preparing equipment data sheets
· Performing technical and commercial bid evaluations of rotating equipment
· Preparing equipment narrative specifications and RFQs
· Reviewing rotating equipment vendor documentation and preparing purchase order documentation
· Participating in vendor coordination meetings
You must have experience in:
· Working for an EPC company
· Petrochemical or power industry project work
· All types of rotating equipment, centrifugal & positive displacement compressor types, material selections, shaft sealing systems, lube oil systems and driver types
· International codes & standards, including APIs
Qualifications:
· BS in Mechanical Engineering
