Our client is a strategic merger of several companies, each having the common mission of providing asset management solutions and damage prevention services to utility plant owners. Our client has surrounded their operation with tremendous industry expertise, but has also created a framework for attracting talent at all levels that is capable of delivering results that far exceed the industry standards. Currently we are searching for a strategic business person to lead the team in Southern Alberta as the Oilfield Business Manager.
The Role:
In the fast-paced construction and oilfield service industry, this person will supervise skilled trades personnel and field crews, coordinate work assignments, liaise with owners, operators and producers and coach crew members while reporting to the Chief Opeating Officer on a regular basis. Responsibilities include:
Managing over 50 trained field technicians and sales staff in S. Alberta equipped with the latest in underground locating and mobile field communications technology
Being a trusted partner in attacking the root causes of underground service interruptions
Being the leader of an experienced organization dedicated full time to helping their clients reduce the total cost of ownership of underground assets
Being the leader in business development for prospective business in the oil and gas industry
Candidate Profile The Candidate:
We are seeking a positive and hard working professional with supervisory experience from an environmental services, construction, surveying, or oilfield environment who is familiar with providing high levels of leadership and mentorship and capable of work related travel throughout Southern Alberta.
Specifically the successful candidate will have:
· Post Secondary or relevant experience
· the desire to lead and strengthen a knowledgeable work force
· a proven record of project management and execution of quality programs
· the ability to prepare and present recommendations to coworkers and decision makers
· strong organizational and analytical skills
The suitable candidate must be organized, well spoken and familiar with working in a fast pace environment.
