Description:
This position reports to the Electrical Design Engineer Manager.
You will be responsible for creating single line, schematic and wiring connection diagrams necessary for the installation of electrical system equipment, including power distribution systems, lighting systems and earthing systems.
Requirements:
Additional relevant experience from a construction environment would prove beneficial.
The ability to take a leadership role by creating a team environment and confidently making decisions regarding allocation of workloads is valued by this organisation.
To be successful in this position you will have tertiary or technical qualifications and extensive experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer in the oil and gas industry. Be familiar with 2D and 3D drafting software including packages such as PDS, Autoplant and AutoCAD.
