Description:
We are listing the role of a Project Manager position as it applies to NOV Edmonton requirements. The ideal candidate will have an engineering/manufacturing background with at least ten years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably related to drilling rigs.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain all relevant information from Sales after receipt of contract Identify Customer interface / approval requirements in conjunction with Sales.
- Identify risks related to execution, cost, schedule in conjunction with Sales.
- Finalize budget and assignment of job nos.
- Finalize Project schedule with input from concerned disciplines and publish the same Monitor schedule, procurement, budget, quality and safety
- Facilitate and expedite inter discipline activities and Customer approvals right thru to shipment Carry out monthly audit of costs, progress, procurement, customer issues, etc and finalize
- Executive reports in conjunction with disciplines Initiate change orders and obtain timely approvals
- Prepare close out report
Qualifications :
- Engineering background, at least 10 years of progressive experiance in a drilling rig manufacturing environment
