Position Summary
[Employer] is currently seeking an Junior Accounting Clerk, located in Sherwood Park, AB.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Photocopying, filing, matching and verifying various accounting paperwork.
- Reconciliation of project data using excel and assisting with project close-out.
- Data entry of approved transactions and/or daily time sheets.
- Handling inquiries and resolving vendor or client issues.
- Providing support to Accounts Payable and Project Accountants as required in preparing backup for client invoicing.
- Balancing and verification of entries.
- Reconciliation of accounts.
- Various administrative responsibilities as required.
The following knowledge, skills, and experience are required:
- High school diploma
- 1 to 3 years of related experience is desired; preferably in an industrial construction or other job cost environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Team player
- Easily adaptable to a changing and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
