Position Summary
[Company] is currently seeking applications for a full-time Payroll Clerk in our Sherwood Park office.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Creation and maintenance of personnel files;
- Filing of timesheets and attendance reports;
- Weekly & Semi-Monthly pay stub distribution;
- Assist with creating employee records;
- Generation of ROE’s;
- Completing Annual Government Documents such T5018’s and T2200’s;
- Assist the payroll team as required.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
- 1 to 2 years relevant work experience;
- Excellent data entry skill;
- Strong organizational, time management and verbal communication skills;
- The ability to think independently and work within a team;
- Previous experience and proven proficiency working with payroll software programs and various other computer systems and Microsoft Office products would be a definite asset;
- Willingness to follow a payroll processing related career path is beneficial.
