Short Description:
- Instrumentation and electrical technician position.
- Successful applicant is expected to assist more experienced technicians and learn safe and efficient operation of instrumentation and electrical equipment in gas processing plants, compressor stations, and other oil and gas facilities.
Job Description:
- Assist other Technicians with installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of electrical and control equipment in gas processing and compressor station facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair motor control centers, electrical distribution systems, motors, and other electrical equipment up to 480VAC.
- Assist other technicians with performance and documentation of preventive maintenance inspections on electrical and control equipment in gas processing and compressor station facilities.
- Comply with applicable Federal and State regulations and all company policies and procedures.
- Learn and adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
- Work with others to insure a safe and efficient operation of gas processing and compressor station facilities.
- Travel regularly within work area and respond to call outs.
- Team oriented, self-motivated and flexible to change.
- Basic understanding of electrical drawings, flow schematics, and piping and instrumentation drawings.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights
- Ability to work in all kinds of weather
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
