Job Description:
Supervise Process Engineering to metallurgical and quality standards
The Job:
- Supervise Process Engineering to metallurgical and quality standards
- Conduct failure/corrosion analysis of returned warranty parts including metallurgical reports
- Knowledge of Corrosion Testing at elevated Temperatures
- Hands-on skills with Non-Destructive Technique Methods, (Ultrasound, Positron Spectroscopy, Neutron Diffraction, and X-Ray Diffraction)
- Knowledge of Hardness Testing, Failure Analysis Techniques, Stress Corrosion Cracking Analysis of fatigue and reliability results for process/part improvements
- Manage projects that involve several different corrosion related issues involving CO2 and H2S corrosion, Stress Corrosion Cracking, sulfide stress cracking, acidizing environments and fractography
- Experience in testing materials and chemical products using techniques like mass loss corrosion, stress cracking and fracture mechanics
- Liaison with clients to assess their corrosion testing needs and write a proposal to perform corrosion testing
Qualifications:
Degree in Material Science Engineering and/or Metallurgical Engineering
Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship. TN Visas are acceptable.
No relocation is offered for this position. Per Diem available to those that qualify.
